Note: I’ve tried using CeraVe and it broke me out. I’m always having to follow up my tinted moisturizer with a brightener to add a little glow. Last time I used Tret I always heard complaints about how bright my skin was, but this time around I’m not hearing that or seeing it at all. I leave my humidifier on 24/7 and keep the heater down. I layer it with SkinFix or SkinCeuticals Night Cream (sometimes both depending on how dry I feel) and then slug every other day with SkinCeuticals Hydra Balm. After it is completely dry, I apply my tret to the 4 quads, nose, and neck (avoiding under my eyes and then folds of my nose), and let it seep in. I always use a fresh towel to dry my face and check for makeup residue. Night: Micellar Water followed by LRP Hydrating cleanser. My wrinkles have all but gone away, but I really want my glow back.ĭay: Cool rinse with a short LPR Hydrating wash on just my t-zone, SkinFix moisturizer and either Elta MD sunscreen or Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30. 05% and my skin looks pretty dull and bumpy. Thank you.Įdit: I just found out that Babe Super Fluid Sunscreen SPF 50 is FA safe and AD free, so if anyone has tried it let me know :) However, I'd rather use something completely FA safe because tbh I am sick and tired of random breakouts and I'm finally getting somewhere with my skin.īrands that are available are: LRP, Avene, Vichy, Bioderma, Uriage, Ducray, Eucerin, A-derma, Babe, Apivita, Dermedic, Heliocare, Novexpert, Skincode, Svr, Olival. Should I worry if a product has one ingredient that is not FA safe, somewhere in the middle of the list (i'm thinking about Bioderma photoderm aquafluid)? I don't have fungal acne currently (all product I use are FA safe), but I think I've had some before (not diagnosed so not sure). I am looking for european sunscreens only. Submitted by Puzzleheaded_Win8067 to Fungalacne Ģ023.03.03 09:08 JacklynNguyen March Glam Bag is pretty good plus add-ons!! □□ Ingredients: Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 10%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 10%, Isododecane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone/Vinyl Diemthicone Crosspolymer, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Capryloyl Glycerin/Sebacic Acid Copolymer, Silica, VP/Eicosene Copolymer, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate Also, because it’s clear, you don’t necessarily need a mirror when reapplying, so it’s been really convenient on days out. The best part about the product is that it’s a crystal clear gel, so there’s no white cast and doesn’t require lots of rubbing in (which irritated my skin with previous SPFs). I have extremely sensitive, FA-prone skin, and this hasn’t caused any sensitivity or any new breakouts. It’s the third FA-safe SPF I’ve tried, and I think I’ve found my HG □ I tried Starface Clear as Day based on another redditor’s recommendation. (From a semi-newbie guy) If I use this bad boy in the morning after washing my face with some gel from The Body Shop, do I need additional sunscreen? It seems like overkill to me, but I would love some input. I do, however, frequently hear of the benefits of wearing sun cream each day and one of the things I've bought is a moisturiser from CeraVe with SPF 50 which brings me to my question: One of the other products is something called retinol and an eye cream which I don't really know what to use for but I'll figure it out as I go along. I've just bought a load of random stuff from Boots (CeraVe's Resufacing Retinol, Cream Cleanser, Eye Cream and AM moisturising lotion with SPF 50) and an exfoliator (Brickells?) which I plan to use once a week to start with to ease my beaten face into it. I recently went on holiday and one of the lads had all of the women grilling him on his routine as his skin looked amazing (so they say, I couldn't notice a difference but wasn't into all of that so maybe didn't know what to look for). My skincare routine for the last 33 years has consisted of using the same bar of Dove soap that I shower with to wash my face while I shower.
